Is it possible to have cable internet and cable phone and satellite television in your home at the same time?

I currently have wire internet, cable phone and cable television installed in my home by Comcast. I neediness to keep the cable internet and cable phone connection, but get arid of the cable television and take over from it with satellite television.

So can I have cable internet and cable phone and satellite tv installed in my house at the same time?

Yes...but why? Satellite TV requires it's own 'box', so a seperate TV would be win out over. Also, to save bandwidth, many satellite providers compress their movies, and you get poorer reception. It may also etiolate during storms, wind and snow.. I could never be sold on satellite. (You also need a seperate box for every TV.)

RIYADH — The slander over a man boasting about his sex life on a popular satellite television show has sparked outbursts against the huge popularity of often-racy offshore broadcasts in ultra-true-blue Saudi Arabia.

Influential clerics have lashed out at the most popular satellite broadcasters for corrupting Saudi mankind with a broad fare running from Arab sitcoms, movies and talk shows to titillating US and Indian films and dramas.

Meanwhile, viewers misgivings that some of their favourite shows, broadcast from more liberal bases in the region, could be endangered just before Ramadan, the top yearly viewing period.

"There is no doubt that we are targeted by channels that are looking to create problems and scandals," columnist Amel Zahad wrote in Al-Watan newspaper on Tuesday.

"Saudi culture is the biggest market for satellite TV... due to the absence of alternative sources of entertainment. This is something that we have to examine and administer with."
